Happy belated Halloween, you favourite slow-poke is in! She didn't get to the station in time to catch the late train from Slow Town, so she's all in here right now! (WAITWAITWAIT, it's still halloween on the west coast, rite?! Yay, I'm not late! WAITSOMEMORE, isn't it daylight savings time?)

Also, I totally just realized what my costume should have been. Franken Stein from Soul Eater. Not only is he most adorable and would've given me an excuse to roll around in a computer chair, but also because all the unknowing peeps would've been like "AHAHA it's a mad scientist with a screw in his head because he's screwed up in the head! How clever!" (... and hopefully not one of the maaany bad pick-up lines I can think of involving a screw and a head). I'm totally gonna cannibalize a lab gown from the bookstore soon. (actually damn I should've done it in my bio lab on friday....) I wanna beeee Frankeeeen. *whine whine whine*. Actually I'd want to show up to a lecture with a screw in my head and act like it's the most normal thing ever just to see the prof's reaction. I know my chem and physics ones will make a big deal out of it if they notice. Ooo, and I also want to make a winter hat like that. *plots*

In other unrelated news, I'm finding it really difficult to finish drawings these days. You wanna know how many sketches I have on my computer that require finished lining and colouring? Over 30 (Not 9000, I think my hard drive would explode). But I just can't stand doing lineart these days and I want to repeatedly hit my face against a wall 30 minutes in. OBUT I FUCKING LOVE COLOURING! (cookies to those who recognize the line.) Someone give me a colouring book. (Lol I just remembered how Masha let me colour one of her my little ponies colouring sheets and loved it so much she tried to get me to colour the rest of the book while she dictated the colour choices. I was like "No, you learn to colour between the lines!") I also need to restart my computer to load updates and just stop it from derping out on me, but a certain someone whose name won't be mentioned but who's had TWO MONTHS to look into a little Adobe Creative Suit 4 problem STILL HASN'T DONE IT. And Photoshop is like "This is the last time you get to open this program before you fix the problem bro."

So, yeah. Also, uh, I was in Montreal in May and there were all these hot guys! I was like oh hell yeah!

No seriously. Did I suddenly get a criteria raise by an order of two or have they all migrated in the south direction for the winter? Other than one lab TA and one guy who's very old news to me, I can't think of one other attractive guy I've met this year. Well, a few were sort of attractive but were douchey personality-wise and were the biggest losers while drunk. OHBUT I can think of about a million mildly to extremely annoying guys (HELLO CHEM LAB BOY, I AM LOOKING AT YOU. That one poor girl now works on the other side of the lab from you, so you're hitting on me now? Don't worry, I'm in my element and bitchy Madam Commander Dominatrix mood in Chem labs (residual habits from high school chemistry where I bossed around my "assistants" who relied on me to brain for them in Chemistry). And I have 7M Sulphuric Acid, oh yes I do, and it just makes my mood even better), total absolute douchebags (Hi other lab TA) and a bunch of not very hot but very sweet guys I'm friends with. This is a mystery.

Switching gears. The Prestige is totally a good movie. I think I would've been in tears had I not had the curiosity of a cat and read a full movie summary online while waiting for my movie to finish loading. As a result I felt kind of stunted throughout the whole thing because I KNEW HOW IT ENDED AUGH AND IT HAD A PLOT TWIST TOO. I LOVE PLOT TWISTS. BUT NOT WHEN I KNOW THEM. It's about magic and magicians and total absolute rivalry infused with men and women dressed in fancy Victorian clothes. Oh, and Tesla proving science to be superior. What's there not to like?

DOLL NEWS:

Mike's wardrobe is as abundant as mine. D= Moreover, I've fallen in love with an outfit on a one-off doll that I nearly considered buying because of it, though I had enough sense to realize it won't look as good on Mike since he's so small. As a result I'm now trying to re-create something like it (but with my own modifications to make it better) instead of studying, and in the middle of a "no clothing for Michael" diet.

Also, Homunculus doll is on his way. When he gets here, he's going to have a pair of shoes and a belt to wear. Sexay. I've decided to try and make my doll clothes after tallying up the cost of Michael's wardrobe. We'll see how that goes... And how long this optimism lasts before I break down and order more Sadol things.

Aaand I've accidentally solidly put two more dolls on my list. Because now see, previously Iplehouse Evan was going to be Marian and all was good. But Iplehouse recently put out a new doll and a slimmer body that suits Marian better. And then it hit me that Mini-Mike and Evan have quite a few features in common. See where this is going? Yeah, I'm now considering a grown-up Michael doll. WHO ONLY EXISTED FOR 4 MINUTES IN THE STORY BUT WHO CARES. This will be Marian: [link] and this will be Michael [link] minus my 5-minute 'shopping and plus pink eyes.

D= I think I'll go plant a money tree or something.
